Snow Procedure

As winter starts to arrive, we would like to remind you of the snow policy.

School will remain open for as long as possible should bad weather occur.

We are not anticipating, and according to the current forecast, the snow currently falling will cause any issues to school. However, should it snow very heavy, updates will be sent to you between 7.00am and 7..30am and will be posted on the Schools website, www.jupitercfs.org.uk, along with Twitter and email to inform you of the situation at school.  These will only be posted if snow is severe and roads are affected.

In the event that the school has to close due to staff not being able to travel to school, we will make that decision by 7.30am.

Further information will be made available to you throughout the day about collection times. Should the weather deteriorate and pickup may be dangerous, we may ask that children are collected earlier than normal.

Of course should it have snow heavily and pathways need clearing, we would welcome any parents or carers who live nearby to lend a hand. Mr Murray would be most grateful!
