Jupiter Community Free School

...for a better future

About Us

Jupiter is a Free School.  We are one of three schools in the West Herts Schools Trust.  The others are Ascot Road and Lanchester, both of which are in Watford.

As a multi academy trust we have an independence that allows us to set our curriculum, define the the school day and determine the staffing structures.  We are funded directly by the Government and we are independent from the Local Authority.

Jupiter opened in September 2014 with 2 Reception classes.  Each year we add a further cohort of 60 children until 2020 when the school will have a complete set of year groups with a capacity of 420 pupils.

We have a reputation for high standards in all we do as we plan and deliver a curriculum and pastoral care to meet the diverse needs of each of our pupils.

We are becoming more popular each year as our existing parents make strong recommendations to their friends when they are making school choices.

We have created a welcoming, friendly and purposeful school with the children's happiness, well-being and learning at the heart of everything the school stands for and promotes. We understand the importance of our local community and work hard to support and work alongside its members.

The school staff are proud of the amazing school we have worked tirelessly to create for parents/carers and children and we are always happy for visitors to come and see us in action.

This website will display rich learning moments of our children as we mature and grow with them.
