Area of Expertise and School Focus:
Hello everyone, I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself, my name is Dora Ngoma and I am a newly appointed Community Governor for the Jupiter Community Free School Local Governing Body. I’m married and we have three children, two are in Year 2 at JCFS and the third will be starting Reception next year.
We have lived in Hemel Hempstead for 3 years and we have grown to love the town. I’m a qualified Accountant and currently work in the public sector. We have been around JCFS from the very beginning when the school opened in 2014.
We have seen our children develop academically and socially in the few years since they started Reception in 2014 in the school. This gave me a feeling of wanting to “give something back” to the school. Becoming a Governor is a great opportunity for me to do just that. As a governor, Finance will be my focus. I’m looking forward to the years ahead using my experience, skills and expertise in Finance and Accountancy to offer support and challenge to the school as it continues to give our children the optimum start in life in a safe and supportive environment.
