School Performance

At the end of each Key Stage, pupils are assessed against the criteria set by The National Curriculum. For the Reception year and at the end of Year 2, this is based on teacher assessment. At the end of Year 6, pupils are assessed both through teacher assessment and the statutory Standardised Tests. (SATs). Year One children sit a 'Phonics Test' and Year Four are tested on their knowledge of multiplication tables.


In 2020 and 2021, the statutory tests didn't go ahead due to the coronavirus lockdown. These were the first years that Jupiter Primary School had Year 6 children, so we have not yet had any Year 6 results.
